The European BMX season was supposed to start in 2 weeks at the UEC European Cup in Verona / Italy. Right now a few races got cancelled already due to the Covid-19 virus. This situation is new and everyone tries to adap the best they can.

The 2020 season start in Europe is approaching fast and Regula is excited to finally race again. Currently, without participating in Australia (first week of February), Regula is number 59 in the UCI Elite Women World Ranking - let´s see how she can improve when the racing starts in Europe again.

SV Salamander Kornwestheim is one of the biggest sport clubs in the Stuttgart area with more than 7´000 active members. Regula is racing for the famous Salamander club since 2016 and traditionally there is the club´s New Year Reception at the end of January.

After many years there was an international race (UCI C1) for Junior & Elite in Esselbach again. The track totally changed since the last European Cup & European Championships and the starting hill was relocated to the former 2nd turn.

At the BMX Bohnice track in Prague / Czech Republic were the final "Czech Cup UCI C1 Olympic Qualification" races this year. After Pardubice in May and Prague-Repy in July this was the last chance to win points for the overall ranking.

The highlight of the German season was on the new Supercross track in Stuttgart. Regula really likes the track and all went good until a hard crash the week before the race. The only question ever since was if she would be able to race?

BMX Club Repy hosted the traditional King of Prague races. Riders from Europe, Australia, Brazil and Argentina competed for UCI points - and 1 rider from the Club SV Salamander Kornwestheim ;)

Regula´s next races were in the bohemian city Pardubice ,Czech Republic. This track already hosted European Cups and there were riders from various countries, even one from Japan, competing. For Regula it was time to get back into international racing and the two UCI C1 races were a good oppportunity.
